For a week now I’ve been working on a piece called “Slaying Dragons – An activity the whole family can enjoy” but every time I get back to it, another memory is triggered and I have to write as much about THAT as I can before I forget. The thing with being my age is that you never run out of memories. Until Alzheimer’s kicks in.
The dragon piece is a true story about my life with my girls – when it was just the three of us – and how we saved the world from a dragon attack on a bored Saturday afternoon. This took place 20 years ago, which explains why you never heard about said dragon attack. Or possibly you never heard about it because my girls and I beat the crap out of the dragons BEFORE they had a chance to attack. (That’s right, animal activists, we killed dragons. BUT we saved the world.)
All that to say, STAY TUNED. The account of how a single mother and her two young daughters saved your life is coming soon. Don’t want to brag or anything but we also saved your children’s lives and your children’s children’s lives. (Gosh am I really that old???)
Oh. And you’re very welcome.
