We made it through another week, awesome Moxie-Dude readers!
And if it’s Friday it must be time for our weekly restaurant review.
This week I checked Fibo Resto-Loft located close to Old Montreal on Notre Dame Street.
The first thing I noticed after walking up several flights of stairs is the old city charm. The wood . . . century-old bricks . . . openness. And, as I was about to find out, Fibo’s specialty is in combining exotic flavours with unexpected textures and turning them into a science.
Everything – from the drinks to the appetizers, main meals and deserts – are created with a “mixologist’s” imagination and bravery to create something new, surprising and delicious. (Kind of like how I cook – but without the “delicious” part.)
Fibo has been open for two years now and with its “reservation only” policy, it’s still considered one of Montreal’s best-kept secrets; especially since the service (possibly the best I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant) was akin to a personalized guided tour into mouth-watering wonders.
Conclusion: A little pricey but definitely worth the experience!
