Happy Friday, awesome Moxie-Dude readers!
Today marks the end of the week – and the end of my trip to Mexico. And while I was reluctant about even coming here (for reasons of I didn’t know what I was thinking at the time), I’m very sad to be leaving.
The weather, the hospitality, the tequila . . . I’m going to miss all of these things. Especially since I know that winter has begun her unpleasant – and always too-long – visit back home.
Conclusion: I LOVE Mexico. (Sorry Canada.)
And then to top off my on-coming depression – because I can already feel my very near future Vitamin D deficiency – I’ve been reading on the Internet that the world is about to suffer a global wine shortage.
THIS IS WORSE THAN GLOBAL WARMING, PEOPLE.
Pardon me. I’m REALLY not myself today.
And so to help me get a head start on fighting my onset of justifiable depression (that’s a real medical term – or possibly should be), I’ve created this list of all the things I have to be grateful for about leaving Mexico.
1. I won’t have to shave my legs for the next five months.
. . .
. . .
. . .
That’s all I got.
Crap.
PS. The picture above is of a tree I found in Mexico that I’m thinking of hiding in at checkout time. Do you think I could pass off as a pixie? Because I’m pretty sure that pixies are native to Mexico. Well, Mexican pixies are. (Clearly ‘geography’ was one of my best subjects.)
I heard the same thing about the wine shortage! I told my family that Christmas should probably not happen this year so that I can stock up on wine!!! (just kidding – sort of)
I hear you! The first thing I plan to do upon my return is fill up my wine rack (and then some). Also, this “planning” thing is giving me something to think about so possibly therapeutic in my future depression. 🙂
First of all, the tree is LOVELY… and this is a word I use often…. I must be rubbing off on you 🙂
Wine shortage… SUCKS… majorly….Will just have to drink more mixed drinks 🙂 Cheers!
Oh THAT’S where that word comes from. And yes – mixed drinks! You’re so solutions-oriented. Love it!
