Happy Day to you, awesome readers!
Early last week I received an email from someone by the name of Heather asking if I could help spread her story.
I said yes because Heather’s story is beautiful and touching and awesome.
Her story is like . . .
What’s the common thread throughout all of these blissful moments?
They’re simple yet have the power to stop time.
You see, right after the birth of her daughter, Heather was diagnosed with mesothelioma, a rare cancer caused by the exposure to asbestos. She was given 15 months to live.
Can you imagine?
Talk about time coming to an abrupt stop!
But as we all know, time never stops – not for the good moments and definitely not for the bad.
I’m happy to say that this part of Heather’s story took place eight years ago.
That’s right. Heather is a survivor and rare case indeed for this type of cancer.
Since her experience (read: the scare of – and FOR – her life), she’s taken the value of gratitude to a whole new level of appreciation. You can read heather’s beautiful story here.
But before you go, what’s one thing that you feel grateful for?
Aw, that’s a happy story. I’m glad. Her daughter got to keep her mom.
I know. It’s so refreshing to hear about a positive outcome when it comes to cancer 🙂
Thanks for sharing this. Wow. Its hard to know what to say, I just lost a dear friend.
So sorry to hear about your friend. It only reinforces the importance of Heather’s mission to create awareness for prevention.
