Happy Monday, awesome readers!
As part of the Easter long weekend, many of us (you, me, our kids) are home today even though it’s a Monday.
In theory this is a good thing because it takes the Monday out of Monday. The thing with “theories” though is that they lie. Put into practice, what you get is this:
After everyone (read: TEENAGERS) has had their fill of laughing in Monday morning’s face by way of sleeping in, everyone else (read: ME) begins to wish that today was just like any other day and said teenagers were at school.
The English version of what I just said is that Mondays spent at home are breeding grounds for teenagers’ capacity to be bored.
I’m thinking – or hoping – that it’s not just my teens that have this talent.
Why do I get the feeling that teenagers are a cloned version of themselves AND each other – at the same time?!!
