Captain’s log. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. Why do I do this to myself? Oh and THANK YOU!

December 23, 2019 by Mona Andrei 2 Comments

Well hello there, awesome readers!

Just in case you’re like me and haven’t been paying attention, tomorrow is Christmas Eve. I’m not sure if Christmas Eve should be title cased. I’m not sure if you celebrate. I’m not even sure what day of the week this is. All I know for sure is that I went to the grocery store this morning to pick up a few things and although I couldn’t put my finger on it at first, it felt like something was off. Maybe it was all the people. Perhaps it was the Christmas music. Yes, it was probably the Christmas music. That’s when it dawned on me that Christmas is this week. THIS WEEK. It falls on the same day every year and yet I insist on living on the edge of my own sanity. Why? WHY???

And then I thought, “I can’t let another moment go by without saying thank you.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for engaging with me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

Connecting with you truly is a highlight for me. And in the spirit of inclusivity, whether you celebrate this season or not I want to wish you a week filled with joy and a fantabulous 2020.

See you next year!

M.
