There’s nothing like a little one-on-one time with your kids. And yesterday I got to do just that with Samantha, my 13-year old daughter.
First we went shopping for a few unmentionables (no seriously – I’m not allowed to mention what we were shopping for), then we decided to stop for a bite to eat. Sam felt like ribs so what better place than Baton Rouge?
Me: Wow! That’s a lot of ribs for a little girl.
Sam: It’s so nice here. I feel like I’m supposed to be all classy and stuff. Oh I know! I’ll put up my pinky.
You see? Even when the question is Oh-my-god-how-am-I-supposed-to-eat-this-and-still-look-civilized? The answer is always right in front of you.
