Good Morning, awesome Moxie-Dude readers!
As a Canadian, I got to celebrate Thanksgiving this weekend – twice. The first dinner was delicious on account that I didn’t make it. The second dinner . . . well, let’s just say that my strategy of starving everyone for three hours while feeding them wine kinda worked.
I say “kinda” because this:
Son: Is this ham?
Me: Yup.
Son: I thought ham was pink.
Me: You watch too many cartoons.
Son: Riiggghhhht.
Conclusion: I think it’s time my son starts having wine like the rest of us.
PS. The picture above is of a family secret recipe. We call it “Cowboy Beans”. Only now I’m thinking that maybe I’m adopted because it didn’t taste at all like how my family makes it.
Heaven forbid I ever have to cook for anyone but myself and my boyfriend (whom I only make french onion dip & puppy chow for). I think your Cowboy Beans look awesome and the fact you used a stove deserves an A++
HA! Wine is always a good call.
I cook…but it’s always 50/50 on whether or not anyone in my family will eat it.. sigh.
