Happy Hump Day, awesome Moxie-Dude readers!
This is what we woke up to here in Montreal-ish this morning.
It’s going to be a long winter. Not so much because of the snow, but because today is the day I found out that my 15-year old son is too cool for winter boots.
I can already see our morning routine for the next 120+ days:
Me: Put your boots on.
My son: I don’t need boots.
Me: Are you kidding me? There’s snow past your knees out there.
My son: Yeah so? My boots don’t go up that high ANYWAY.
It is with much love that I say . . .
Grrrrr
Back to the wordless part of today’s post.
Haha! The only time my oldest son wears boots is when he works on the local farm in the summer time. I guess if he’s out in the snow, he wears his snowboard boots…that’s what all my kids wear. Maybe I should buy them boots?
Well I bought them boots and I have a feeling that they’re just going to take up space in the entrance closet. In their defence, I remember having the same arguments with my mother when I was a teen 🙂
Beautiful – I LOVE the snow! Right now, as my son is only 3 years old, I can wrestle him to the ground to put on the boots if he’s not cooperating. I can see that not working so well in another 13 years. 😉
It will be a WHOLE OTHER ball game by then, Jenn 🙂
