Hey there, awesome readers!
Caution: Blatant self-promoting up ahead. (Because warning you makes me feel less … “self-promoty”.)
If you follow me on Facebook and Twitter, you may be aware that I’m writing a book. This is because I love writing so much that I write about it all the time. Also, writing about writing is one of the best ways to shamelessly avoid writing. And if you’re wondering what it would be like to make a living as a writer, let me paint you a word picture:
That said, I’ve been working on two books and have recently decided to focus on just one because the characters kept confusing each other. Kind of like if Mrs. Peacock, who was in the middle of killing Mr. Green in the conservatory with a candlestick, suddenly found herself teaching a math class to vampires in the south of France in 1972.
And you KNOW what Mrs. Peacock would be thinking, right?
Hey wait a minute!!! Where’s that candlestick? OMG this moonlighting-in-two-books shit is going to get me caught red handed!
Oh wait! I’m not even in that story anymore. Never mind.
I digress.
Also, if anyone is looking for me I’ll be working on my book this afternoon. Right after I water the plants.
