
Well hello there, awesome readers.
Yesterday I got to play in a darts tournament and while I have never thought of myself as the “darts type” (don’t ask me what the darts type is; I don’t even know), I have a confession to make:
It. Was. Fun.
You have to focus. You get to socialize. You observe. You learn. You implement. You share.
You’re even vulnerable as you compete (in a friendly way) with kick-ass dart players that can turn the page faster than you can do the math. If you play darts, you know what that means. If you’ve never played darts before, just know that there’s more to it than trying to hit a bull’s eye, which up until recently is what I thought playing darts was all about.
It’s not.
And guess what? Happiness … success … a sense of accomplishment … they’re not about hitting the bull’s eye either. It’s about the stuff all around.
